Solid bins that last

Concrete posts and gravel boards make a solid, long-lasting compost bin. We have built a number of them over the years, and we supply and fit every one.

One job in Kemsing was two bins, each 1.83m wide and 1.2m high, made from concrete posts and gravel boards.

Usual sizes

  • Single bin

Usually between 900mm and 1.2m wide.

  • Larger bin

Some are bigger: 1.83m wide and 1.2m high.

  • More than one

We can build bins side by side. The Kemsing job was two.

Tell us how much space you have and we will quote for the size you need. Want to build one yourself? See our fencing supplies or call us to ask about supply only.

Compost bin questions

What are your compost bins made from?

Concrete posts and gravel boards. The concrete gives you a solid, long-lasting bin that holds a lot of material.

What sizes do you build?

A single bin is usually between 900mm and 1.2m wide. Some are larger: on one job in Kemsing we built two bins, each 1.83m wide and 1.2m high. Tell us how much space you have and what you need, and we will quote for it.

Do you supply and fit, or supply only?

We supply and fit, and that is how we have always done them. We have not sold them as supply only, but we would be happy to if you would rather build one yourself. Call us on 01732 762677 to ask.

Where do you build compost bins?

We work across Sevenoaks and West Kent from our yard at Seal, including Westerham, Edenbridge, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
